At Popcorn Chicago we've been making delicious gourmet popcorn since 1997.

Chicago has a long history of gourmet popcorn. After tasting other stores’ products we felt we could produce a superior product. In 1998 we started producing "Chicago Style'' (cheese & caramel) product using only the highest quality ingredients. We start with the best corn seeds available, grown in the Midwest. The farms that grow our popping corn have been producing the best corn for over 80 years. Start with the best seeds and you are half way there! We then add fresh sweet butter and Hawaiian cane sugar. Our double cheddar is always made with real Wisconsin cheddar cheese. There’s never a shake-on flavor or a greasy feel to our handcrafted product.

In the beginning our product was available at large festivals within the metropolitan Chicago area. We soon ran out of production space and opened a larger facility in 2001. Due to our growing popularity and many customer requests we opened an on-line store in November of 2002. At that time we perfected other recipes including luscious nuts, cookie chunks and other gourmet, quality ingredients. We continue to produce only in small batches to maintain quality and freshness. We were featured on the "Food Network" as being in the top 5 in 2003. We realized everyone was not internet friendly so we opened a wholesale division. We distribute to retailers such as the legendary Chicago Theatre and The Symphony Center as well as numerous convenience stores. Soon we were getting orders from all around the country. We saw a need to introduce our products to a whole new market. Our newest store is located in the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. Here we will be offering our product to people from all over the globe. We hope you love our fresh, delicious popcorn as much as we do!!
